Apple is hosting a Worldwide Developer Conference 2022 on June 6-10 to study software updates. The new rumor says that Apple may also unveil new hardware during its keynote, including updates for the MacBook Air, Mac mini, and 24-inch iMac.
According to Power On Newsletter, Mark Gurman, Apple plans to unveil new Macs in the coming months. Gurman states:
“What better time to do that than WWDC? This is the same occasion that announced Mac’s move from Intel to Apple’s own chips two years ago.”
First claims about WWDC 2022
Gourmet sources say the new Macs should be launched in the middle of 2022 or the second half of the year. One of these models would be an update for the MacBook Air. In addition to the MacBook, Air Gurman suggests that updates for the Mac mini and 24-inch iMacs may be on the way, as may the new low-end MacBook Pro, which is said to replace the current 13-inch MacBook Pro.
iMac Pro and Mac Pro are also candidates. Apple has already revealed at the Peek Performance Event that it is working on a new Mac Pro.

Apple will never introduce all Macs at its developer conference. Autumn usually offers a preferential period for new announcements. In February, Gurman said that by 2022, Apple would launch at least seven new Mac models.
The list currently includes an updated Mac mini with M1 Pro and M2 upgrades, a MacBook Air and a 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 chip, a 24-inch iMac M2, and a new iMac Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max and an Apple Silicon Update on the Mac Pro.
