Apple has just made available to developers the fourth beta of iOS 15.5, one of the last major updates to iOS 15 that we will see before the official presentation of iOS 16, scheduled for early June at WWDC22. The fifth major update of iOS 15 arrives with interesting improvements and its final version is getting closer.
As usual, along with beta 4 of iOS 15.5, Apple has also made the fourth beta of iPadOS 15.5, watchOS 8.6, tvOS 15.5, and macOS Monterey 12.4 available to developers.
What’s new in iOS 15.5 beta 4
In the previous betas of iOS 15.5 we have seen interesting news such as references to the Apple Classical app, iTunes Pass, and changes in Universal Control. And in beta 3 came a novelty related to the Photos app, specifically with the Memories function.

A function is added that blocks “sensitive locations” so that they do not show you memories of that place, all the places prohibited in this version are related to the Holocaust although more may be added in this beta 4.
It is clear that iOS 15 is reaching the end of its cycle and the news is no longer as relevant as in previous updates. All these improvements Apple is saving for iOS 16.
